Our Men’s Counselling Program provides individual and/or group counselling to men who would like to improve their relationships, reduce stress and better manage conflict.

If you struggle with managing stress, these tips may help:

  • Delegate tasks to others. Trust others to get it done.
  • Prioritize tasks. Do what must be done now.
  • Take a break (but avoid caffeine & nicotine).
  • Get outside.
  • Talk to someone.
  • Record your thoughts, or write them down.
  • Exercise.
  • Participate in activities you enjoy.
  • Take five deep breaths.
  • Take time to notice your surroundings.
  • Laugh whenever possible.

80% of your worries never occur. If you can do something about it, get it done. Otherwise, don’t let it bother you.

Alcoholics Anonymous

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength, and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership. Their primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.
