Women's Shelter offers free, safe, confidential counselling and support services, and short term housing to women and children who have experienced relationship abuse, who have are being victimized by threats, intimidation, physical violence or emotional/verbal abuse by their partner. The Shelter provides a safe and comfortable place to stay, food and other essentials, assistance with transportation and childcare, advocacy and accompaniment to appointments and court, referrals to individual/group counselling, community resources and follow up support after your stay.

Violence that occurs within an intimate relationship is referred to as family violence. Family violence includes child abuse or neglect, partner battering and elder abuse. If you need shelter, we can arrange for a safe place for you and your children to stay. We will help you plan your next step.
